Western Province: 25 compete to enter for Second Batch -School of Music.



WDA Team of Eight this Monday conducted a talent competition from which successful candidates will enter the Rwandan School of Music 2015.25 with only 2 females have demonstrated their flair through music and playing instruments at IPRC West.

Jacques MURIGANDE, the Director of this school appreciates each of candidates’ commitment to showing ability in music and advised them to keep improving.
“It’s remarkable that you are motivated and some of you are at good level, keep improving. With your performance, we shall communicate to you those to pass to the final competition from which successful will be our students in 2015,” He said.

Munyaneza Steven, one candidate from Karongi who has even composed 7 songs said he want to be a producer and confirmed that developing the career will help him expressing constructive ideas and generate income.

Such a competition will be made in all Five Provinces of the country, Southern province (December 16th) at IPRC South, Kigali (Dec 17th & 18th) at IPRC Kigali, Eastern province (December 19th) at IPRC East and Gishari Integrated Polytechnic (December 20th) respectively and Northern province (December 22th) at Tumba College of Technology. Final competitions are scheduled for December 23rd at petit stade Amahoro, starting at 2pm., successful will gather for the final selection December 23rd at Petit Stade Amahoro in which only 20 successful will make the 2015 intake of School of music saw birth March 2014.
