IPRC West: TVET Education, an efficient key to the development of Rwanda and the future of Kids

18th April, 2014, an NGO named “Future for Kids in Rwanda” from the Northern Province of Rwanda visited IPRC West. The purpose of this visit was to incite children to different areas of education especially exploring the TVET education.









In their one day visit, the delegation enjoyed their being at IPRC West and confirmed TVET education to be a key while the country promotes education for the development of hands- on Experience and small enterprise development.

 “This is a good choice made our country investing in TVET education, ‘Says Justin RURANGIRWA, the manager of FFK/MGEC. I really appreciate the way this school is working hard to implement this policy and results are remarkable with professional equipment and tangible innovations, He added. Rurangirwa pleaded children to like and join technical and Vocational.

This was also the same to Niyomugeni Gaudiose, a lady sponsored by Future 4 Kids NGO and who currently works as an Accountant at Home St. Jean based in Karongi after completing her university studies. “My brothers, sisters and I, appreciated this school with equipment, infrastructure but especially with innovations. I hope soon many of us will join technical education” she says.

Future for Kids in Rwanda is a non-governmental organization based in Musanze, Rwaza sector. It was funded in 2000 by a sister who is currently in retreat and the main mission was to support the education of vulnerable people especially orphans from the 1994 genocide against Tutsi. Visiting IPRC West, they were on a number of 52 composed of students in Primary, Secondary, and University accompanied by Six Sponsors headed by Dr Otto Fischer from Austria.
