The Military Academy Staff Found Technical Education Worthy for the Development of the Country.
Senior Officers from Rwanda military Academy based in Nyakinama, Musanze District, on Thursday 22nd January, 2014 visited IPRC West in their tour in the country to boost their knowledge on the country developmental activities TVET included.
In their day visit, senior officers affirmed TVET program worthy for the development of the population especially youth and the country at large.The officers mainly come from Rwanda,Kenya,Tanzania,Uganda and Ghana

After the principal of IPRC West, Eng. Mugiraneza J.Bosco briefed them on the school history, programs, equipments and achievements, officers appreciated the organization, capacity by the school and outcomes.

They said the government needs to provide adequate materials as the school progress with innovations.
Lt.Col Bernard from Uganda said Rwanda has taken a good step in TVET. “This is a good step taken the country considering other African countries. More professional materials are needed for students to practice, “he said.

Rwanda Military Academy was established in September 2000 with the assistance of the Kenyan Military Advisory and Training Team (KMATT). The mission was to build capacity within the RDF that would allow the RDF among other things, manage training on its own. RMA - Nyakinama Campus was opened in October 2001.
