What the MINICOM minister Kanimba Says of Jua Kali/Nguvu Kazi Expo.

Minister of MINICOM Francois KanimbaFrom 1st to 7th December at Gikondo Expo Ground Kigali held an exhibition of Small and Micro enterprises products from East African Community member States.
Although Minister Francois Kanimba has appreciated innovations and motivation by exhibitors explaining their products as well as deep research to come up with them; he has confirmed there are a lot to change in the subsequent exhibitions of this type.
Competitiveness and improvement of products on the side of Rwandans learning from other countries’ is one of advice left the minister while closing Expo.

From 1st to 7th December at Gikondo Expo Ground Kigali held an exhibition of Small and Micro enterprises products from East African Community member States.
Although Minister Francois Kanimba has appreciated innovations and motivation by exhibitors explaining their products as well as deep research to come up with them; he has confirmed there are a lot to change in the subsequent exhibitions of this type.

In addition to this, he said a given amount should be paid by visitors entering the exhibition and urged state members to think of the name Jua Kali/Nguvu kazi so as to give more value to these exhibitions.
Otherwise, the Minister appreciated the exhibition as the best way to develop small and micro enterprises as well as strengthening relations among EAC state members.
“This important event to entrepreneurs learning to develop their projects… I was overwhelmed by products exhibited and research made to come up with such. You saw how TVET Schools joins vehicle spare parts to make a real car for learning purpose. It gives a hope of development of small and medium industries in EAC members,” He said

Exhibitors found many opportunities from this exhibition.
“Even if I have sold enough; my main purpose was partnership and marketing of my products which were both were successful,” said NTWIRENABO Anne, a Ugandan exhibitor of Lenor Enterprises Ltd dealing with Cottage industries, organic Fruit Juice, honey& wine processing as well as crafts.
Jua Kali/Nguvu Kazi exhibition rotates among EAC State members; after the 15th held in Rwanda, the next is supposed to take place in Burundi or Tanzania according to the agreement by organizing Committee.
